#LadiesSupportingLadies Podcast: Episode 1 -- Just About 'Star Wars' [Contributors: Lynnie, Chelsea, and Melanie]

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been an evident box office hit. With record-breaking sales, it has become not only a resurgence for the franchise but has introduced a lot of new viewers to the world created throughout the films. What is important, of course, about this film could be defined in various articles (and has been, especially at our site by some of the brilliant writing staff!). But sometimes feelings and opinions cannot only be contained to the written word, and must be expanded into spoken word too.

Some of our staff members decided to take to a podcast in order to explain exactly what it was about The Force Awakens that struck them as not only as important and worth celebrating, but also essential (we'll give you a heads up: female characters are extremely important to us all).
